Chile will host the Special Olympics World Games, the world’s largest sporting and social event for people with intellectual disabilities. More than 6,000 athletes from 170 countries and over 20,000 foreign visitors are expected to attend.
Your region can be part of the Host Town Program, in which athletes and delegations will tour the 16 regions for three days leading up to the event. In addition, you can participate in the Torch Relay, carrying this message of inclusion to local communities, or apply for tickets to bring your community to watch the competitions.
