Santiago will host more than 6,000 athletes from over 170 countries, who will compete in 23 sports.

The 2027 Special Olympics World Games will be held in Santiago from October 12 to 24, 2027.
Chilean delegation
The Special Olympics Chile team will be represented by 500 athletes from around the country.

The 2027 Special Olympics World Games in Santiago will feature 23 sports, showcasing the incredible talent and determination of athletes from around the world. Events will take place across premiere venues throughout the city, with the iconic National Stadium Park serving as the central hub of the Games. From aquatics and athletics to team sports and individual competitions, each venue is designed to provide an unforgettable experience for athletes and spectators alike.
