Centro de Tenis
Located in the northern section of the Parque Estadio Nacional, the Centro de Tenis is one of Chile’s premier venues for racket sports practice and competition. Its infrastructure was renovated for the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games, incorporating courts and spaces for tennis, squash, and racquetball, as well as facilities for training athletes in adapted tennis.
A highlight of the facility is the Anita Lizana Center Court, which opened in 1975 to host Davis Cup matches and is recognized as one of the historic venues of Chilean tennis. For the Special Olympics Invitational Games—Road to Santiago 2027, the venue will host the Opening Ceremony, where nearly 800 athletes from 8 countries will march in a parade to kick off the sporting event.
